Yuanzhe Liu 刘元喆 | Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

About Me

I am a first year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Ziniu Hu.

Prior to that, I obtained my master’s degree in computer science from Courant Institute of Mathematics at New York University. I received my CS, Mathematics and Piano Performace Bachelor degree from Oberlin College and Conservatory, fortunate to be advised by Prof. Sam Taggart (CS) and Prof. Peter Takács (Piano).

Research Interests

(Controllable and Interactive) Generative Models (autoregressive, diffusion and others), especially for creative art and music, with the goal of facilitating artists and composers with AI models. In the past, I did research on approximation theory and economic game theory
